Born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco, Mehdi Zarhloul immigrated to the United States at the age of 16 to live the American dream and pursue his culinary passion. For over 20 years, Zarhloul has managed many casual and fine dining restaurants, including ten years as the Assistant Food and Beverage Director of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. In 2006, Zarhloul moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he opened his restaurant, Crazy Pita Rotisserie & Grill, at The District at Green Valley Ranch. Crazy Pita has been rocketed to popularity and cemented as Las Vegas’s favorite eatery for over 15 years due to its amazing fresh-casual Mediterranean cuisine, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere. Crazy Pita’s menu selection includes signature dishes that are both tasty and healthy. Today, Zarhloul owns three Crazy Pita Rotisserie & Grill locations in Southern Nevada: The District at Green Valley Ranch, Town Square Las Vegas, and Downtown Summerlin. Also, single- and multi-unit franchising opportunities are available nationwide.

Zarhloul’s heavy involvement with local nonprofit organizations stems from his feelings of responsibility, as a Southern Nevada business owner, to give back to the community in meaningful ways. His mission to exhibit social responsibility and encourage his customers to get involved allows his restaurants to become a platform for giving back to local charities and engaging in community efforts. Lending a helping hand is something that comes naturally to him, and he instills this mentality into his employees and the corporate cultural brand.
