As a Black entrepreneur - and the first licensed Black distiller, too - Jackie Summers is keenly aware of the daily struggles on the path to success. And Amanda Victoria, a multi-decade industry veteran, was determined to develop responsibly sourced products featuring quality ingredients, while controlling her own career path, when she decided to launch her new RTD, Siponey. Both are highly regarded producers and educators who advocate for a sustainable environment in people and products. Jackie in particular has a heart for marginalized people and with his newly energized Sorel brand relaunch and partnership, he’s also claiming a legacy for Black and POC-led businesses.
